The JS & EC Rymer Charitable Trust is proud to support the Richard Shephard Music Foundation

The Richard Shepard Music Foundation was established in 2021, following the death of composer Dr Richard Shephard, with the mission of 'bringing the experience and enjoyment of music to children and young people in Yorkshire and beyond'. The foundation's schools programme largely focusses on primary school in disadvantaged or isolated communities. Their vision is for all children to gain happiness from a lifelong love of music and to receive the social, emotional and educational benefits music can bring.

The JC & EC Rymer Charitable trust has been a friend of the charity since its inception. Helping smaller charities is where we can really witness communities benefitting from the incredible services RSMF provide. Their dedication to providing inclusive, community-based music experiences across the region is outstanding and we are proud to be able to support this phenomenal team to continue their valuable work.
